So...it's been months since I last posted. When I created my blog, I did it because I thought it would be quite fun and interesting, but I never really took it very seriously. But, I am a new woman, I'm 16, I've left school (for the summer anyway) and I want to become a good/awesome blogger (hahaha).
So, with all of that now on to the main point of the post...THE JUBILEE! This past weekend us Britts have been celebrating 60 years of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. It was a bank holiday full of fun, laughter, mountains of sweet treats (sadly no scones) and general patriotism. On the saturday I went to the Derby in Epsom, with my good friend Kitty, which was an amazing day, sadly I didn't get many pictures, but I'll post the view I did manage to take. On the Sunday I had a major jubilee celebration. My street held a street party which was such a lovely occasion and it was a brilliant chance to meet all of my lovely neighbours who I had never spoken to before . IT was such a good day, even with the presence of the horrendous British weather, which let for our street party to be turned into a 'church hall party', still it was a lovely day. Due to it being the jubilee where we were celebrating all things British I donned the colours of our nation, red, white and blue. I went for a fairly casual outfit, black disco pants (American Apparel), for the white: a basic tee (River Island), for the blue: a denim Levi jacket (vintage store in brick lane) and for the red: Bright red lip stick (MUA) and my burgundy red scrunchie (American Apparel). I don't have a full shot, because I didn't plan to make this post, but in the future I will try to. God save the Queen. (Sorry for how long this post is, I'll shut up now hahaha) xxx
